I’ve always been fond of rocks but it was only after studying Geography in secondary school that I started to love and appreciate the beauty of these formations (PS: I am no nerd). So when Sylvia told me she really wanted to do a Casual Couple Photoshoot along the coast, I knew we had to head to Moffat Beach because I have been meaning to shoot here!! This is one set of photos that I kept swooning over because I’m such sucker for coastal rocks.
As you can probably tell from the next few photos, it was a really cloudy day. A few hours before the shoot, Marcus texted me all worried because the weather forecast was not in our favour but I told him that as long as it isn’t a heavy downpour, we should be fine! I’m a firm believer of making do with what I have especially since I mostly shoot outdoors and have no control over lighting much less weather conditions.
Thankfully, we were blessed with good weather despite the dark looming clouds above us. In fact, we managed to get some really nice, dark and moody pictures which I think complements the shadows that the rocks cast!
And here is their happy faces after a successful day of shooting with no rainfall at all!! Such cuties! It is such a blessing to have gospel friends whom I can photograph and create amazing memories through this process.
