Something a little different from my usual!! Lots of acroyoga poses going on here! Abel and Charis were such a fun couple to shoot! I love their enthusiasm in trying to nail these poses – many of which they’ve never done before.
Charis reached out to me with this idea of booking a nice airbnb during her stay in Brisbane. She wanted to have an indoor shoot and an outdoor one! She sent me a list of airbnbs that she really liked and we went through them, discussing which would fit better for the shoot. Finally narrowed down to this which was a really quaint airbnb nestled in the yard of its host’s house!
I vividly remember this day. I was pregnant and going through another day of the infamous first-trimester-nausea. Was feeling real low about it but popped some pills (to prevent my nausea) and the adrenaline of working kicked it as I was shooting. It was great!! Felt like I was myself again for that brief period! It is honestly such a huge relief to be able to feel normal even just for a few hours. I definitely felt quite trapped in my first trimester symptoms but so glad it is all over now! On hindsight, looking at my healthy baby, if all those symptoms meant that she was growing then it was well worth the pain!!
